Over the past 5 years, the Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation Foundation has been raising money to build a new park off of Sicard Hollow Road that will be adjacent to the existing athletic complex. We have worked in conjunction with the City of Vestavia Hills and our Parks and Recreation Board to provide a destination park for our citizens and surrounding communities.

We are pleased to announce that the official groundbreaking for this new community park will be held on Thursday, November 10 and will begin at 3:45pm. 

Please join us as we break ground on the park and also recognize two of our major investors, Buffalo Rock and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama for their commitment to our Foundation and for helping us accomplish this project.
